What would you do if you lost your job, they closed the banks so you couldn't access your savings, and the government seemed unable to help? In Argentina they stormed supermarkets for food; the police gunned down 30 people in just one day. But what happened next was truly extraordinary.

With times so difficult, people could have turned on each other in fear and desperation; instead they turned to each other in mutual support. These are their inspiring stories – of failed economy and distrusted politicians, of heartache and hard times, of a resurgence of grassroots democracy and an irrepressible spirit of community.

如果你失去了你的工作，銀行又關門大吉使你連自己的積蓄亦不能取回，甚至連政府亦未可幫得上忙，你還可以做甚麼呢？在阿根廷，他們曾為搶奪食物而掃蕩超級市場，警方亦於一天之內槍殺三十人之多。但之後的發展超出了任何想像。
在如此困難的時候，人們極可能因為恐懼和絕望而互相排拒或爭鬥，但是他們卻主動地互相支援。這是他們的故事-關於一個失敗的經濟模式和拒絕再相信任何政客，關於他們痛心的經驗和困難的時間，關於一個基層民主及不息的社群精神的再生-這是他們令人動容的故事。

We will not be your guides, but we will give you our hands, to consummate without neglect and share with you another view of the present, and another vision of the future. Come and join our regular film screenings and discussions- what we have in store for you is one big NO to neo-liberalism and many yeses to you the peoples.
我們不會成為你/妳的導引，但我們將伸出我們雙手，希望與你/妳分享另一個對現在觀察及成就另一個對將來的想像。請參與我們的定期放映及討論─我們為你/妳準備了一個對新自由主義的特大交叉，還有對你/妳及其他人民的眾多確認和肯定。

Pedro, Antonio, and Luis joined Brazil's Landless Workers Movement in search of a piece of land, dignity in their lives, and justice in their society. Through their memories and their day-to-day lives in Pernambuco and Bahia, they bring us a personal portrait one of the most vital social movement in Latin America today.

柏度、安東尼奧與路易斯為找尋屬於他們的一片紮根地，生命的尊嚴與及社會公義而參與了巴西無土地農民運動。透過展示他們在班南布高與巴希亞的生活及陳述他們的過往，他們從自身的經練出發，為我們展述了現時在拉丁美洲其中一個最具生命力的社會運動。
